Computational solution of the acoustic field surrounding a baffled panel by the Rayleigh integral method

The acoustic field surrounding a baffled vibrating panel is modelled by the Rayleigh integral. In this paper product integration is applied to the Rayleigh integral to derive a method that is termed the Rayleigh integral method. A particular implementation of the method is described. The method is applied to test problems, and results are given.
